LA "DOGLINE" en VAN DIEMEN LAND/ THE "DOGLINE" IN VAN DIEMENS LAND

Curioseando por internet encontré este curioso método de vigilancia llamado la "Dogline" que emplearon los guardias ingleses en la isla prisión de Van Diemens Land para vigilar a los prisioneros que trataban de escapar a través del Istmo de EagleHawk Neck. Hay una imagen, que yo al menos desconocía, donde se vé a Lady y John Franklin visitando este famoso lugar.

Looking for internte I found this curious method of vigilance called The ´Dogline´ that the English guards used in the prison island of Van Diemens Land to guard the prisoners which tried to escape through the isthmus of EagleHawk Neck . There is a image, unknown for me at least, where you can see at Lady and John Franklin visiting this famous place.
